Growing a Bright Future with Chilliwack’s Green Thumb, Brian Minter

When it comes to Chilliwack, Brian Minter is basically the local gardening superhero—minus the cape, but definitely rocking the gloves! Known for his passion for plants and his love for the community, Brian has been transforming the Lower Mainland, one green space at a time, for decades. As the owner of Minter Country Garden, he’s cultivated a loyal following and turned his love for horticulture into an art form. So, naturally, when the opportunity to partner with Brian came up, we couldn’t say yes fast enough!

We’ve teamed up with Brian to create something special—large, seasonal planters that will give the district a splash of vibrant color all year long. These planters will be more than just a pretty face (or petal); they’ll evolve with the seasons, showcasing fresh, festive plants to keep the town blooming, even in the dead of winter! Expect lush greens in spring, bright blossoms in summer, and a cozy holiday twist come December. And of course, Brian’s attention to detail means these planters will always look their best.

Brian’s passion goes beyond the pots. He’s a true community cornerstone, working with businesses and organizations all over the Lower Mainland to spread his love for plants—and he’s been doing it for decades! Whether it’s his advice columns, garden centre workshops, or media appearances, Brian’s mission is simple: to make the world a little greener, one plant at a time.

With his expertise and our shared commitment to beautifying Chilliwack, this project is just the start of something that will keep our streets full of life, color, and energy. These planters are more than just decorations—they’re a reflection of the community spirit that Brian embodies. We’re thrilled to be working with someone who not only loves his craft but loves his town too.

So, keep your eyes peeled for these planters around town and enjoy watching them grow and change through the seasons. Thanks to Brian Minter, Chilliwack is about to get a whole lot brighter!
