Easter Scavenger Hunt Recap 2025

On a crisp spring morning, District 1881 awoke to the sounds of laughter, footsteps and the occasional rustle of the Easter Bunny, fully garbed and ready to greet children. Baskets in tow, kids set off on a pastel-filled journey through the District’s cobblestone lanes, following clues and collecting stickers in the annual Easter Scavenger Hunt. But this wasn’t just a hunt—it was a celebration of community, creativity and local charm.

Each stop on the route offered something unique. At Liten Dal, little ones marveled at toys while staff handed out cheerful stickers and animal mascots. Hunni’s Boutique served up sparkles and smiles in equal measure, while SOL Smoothie Bar treated young hunters to sips of sunshine in smoothie form. Over at Smoking Gun Coffee Roasters, the grown-ups got a much-needed caffeine boost while kids tucked another sticker into their sheets.

Sustainable surprises waited at PickEco Refills, where eco-conscious gifting got its moment, and The Local Space invited families to linger among shelves of local-made goods and cheeky greeting cards. Indigenous-owned Section 35 added a touch of West Coast streetwear flair to the mix, and for the final stretch, Kanto Poke Mart delighted fans of all ages with a playful, Pokemon-infused finale.

And of course, the Easter Bunny was on hand for photo ops—posing in front of a blooming spring backdrop, smiling wide for camera-shy toddlers and Instagram-happy parents alike.

More than just a scavenger hunt, the event turned District 1881 into a storybook village for the day, where families wandered, discovered, and connected. It’s another reminder that whether it’s Easter, Halloween or a weekend stroll, District 1881 is the place to be for things to do in Chilliwack—no map or stickers required.
